This Sunday, the Houston Chamber Choir will present the 20th anniversary celebration of Hear the Future, an annual event in which the company invites three outstanding choirs from the Greater Houston area to participate in its invitational choral festival. Hear the voices of several area schoolchildren when you witness this event on January 27th.
This year, Houston Chamber Choir presents the Kinder HSPVA Chorale from Houston ISD directed by Shannon Carter; Tompkins High School Chorale from Katy ISD directed by Christin Reinartz; and the North Shore Senior High School Chorale in Galena Park ISD, directed by Enrique Collazo. Hear the Future gives audience members a chance to show their support and appreciation for the outstanding work being done by music educators and their talented singers.
The featured choirs serve to acknowledge and encourage high standards for all school choirs. Thousands of students from more than 40 of the area's finest school choral programs have participated in Hear the Future over the years.
Whether you sing, enjoy music, or simply would like to support future generations of Houston-area singers and musicians, Hear the Future is a wonderful event for all to attend. Admission is free, and all ages are welcome.
Community interaction is an important part of life, which is why The Villages of Lake Jackson Apartments in Lake Jackson, Texas is urging you to join in the all of the excitement at this event! Don’t be shy—plenty of fun awaits in the greater neighborhood beyond our beautiful apartment community.
