Lake Jackson: The City of Enchantment

Lake Jackson, known as the “City of Enchantment”, is a city in Brazoria County, Texas within the Houston-Sugar Land-Baytown metropolitan area. In 1942, Lake Jackson was developed as a company town for the workers of the Dow Chemical Company and has since transformed into a thriving, small city with a population of approximately 30,000 residents.
